No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Rams.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Rams reached some 119 spots for Trey Moore, and value like that does not grow back.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Johnson. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Lawson pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at wide receiver, safety and other spots.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.

Jihaad Campbell at pick 84 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.

The eyebrow-raiser of the weekend. They went linebacker with Deontae Lawson while clear needs at wide receiver, safety and other spots sat open.

A real head-scratcher, Dillon Gabriel in No. 90 is miles ahead of his ranking. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.

They will replay Kaleb Johnson at the 101st overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

A swing that ignored the value entirely, Rylie Mills well ahead of where he belonged. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
