jayniv DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B-
ValueB+

FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Seahawks for Rodriguez: B-. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Seahawks were there to profit. Jacob Rodriguez, the No. 74 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 3, Pick 32. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The back end got a real overhaul.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Colton Hood
In the 32nd pick they get a press-man option on the boundary. More want than need.
Pick64
Rnd2
Zachariah Branch
Zachariah Branch at the 64th overall pick is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the wide receiver. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick96
Rnd3
Jacob Rodriguez
Somehow Jacob Rodriguez was still sitting there in pick 96, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick188
Rnd6
Taylen Green
Taylen Green in slot 188 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It fills a real need, too.
