Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Bills.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bills reached some 35 spots for David Oke, and value like that does not grow back. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick19 Rnd1 Makai Lemon
In pick 19 they get a go-to option on the outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick56 Rnd2 Colton Hood
A premium they did not need to pay, Colton Hood a notch or two before his time. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick87 Rnd3 Rod Moore
A slide stopped in slot 87, with Rod Moore worth more than the price. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick122 Rnd4 David Oke
David Oke at No. 122 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick162 Rnd5 Davison Igbinosun
Davison Igbinosun at the 162nd pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick218 Rnd7 DeAndre Moore Jr.
DeAndre Moore Jr. at the Round 7 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick229 Rnd7 Tristan Leigh
Tristan Leigh at pick No. 229 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
