Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Raiders.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Raiders spent slot 108 on Seth McLaughlin, a name most had 56 spots down the list. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Martinez pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
