The Giants let Ratledge fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Somebody in pick No. 99 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Giants sat still while Tate Ratledge, the No. 71 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
