You could see the war room lean forward. Kris Abrams-Draine at the 109th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. With quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
