The Falcons lost the trade table, and the D+ tells the story.

The Falcons did not so much draft Shilo Sanders as overpay for him, 38 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Huzzie pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The Sam Hubbard deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
