The Falcons got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Shilo Sanders in No. 194, a good 82 spots before the room expected him. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Getting McCord where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
