After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Falcons committed. Michael Penix Jr. is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The Mettauer reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots still on the board. They banked enough surplus on Fisher to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
