Some picks age like wine; Richard Jibunor at pick 236 will need to, sitting 90 spots clear of his grade. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while edge rusher, linebacker and other spots went begging. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring. Amegadjie at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
