Nobody had RJ Oben this high, and it is not close. The Rams reached 28 spots to get him at the Round 6 slot.

They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it. The Thornton Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
