The Packers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the Round 6 slot on Rondell Bothroyd a full 59 spots early. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
