The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Domani Jackson slide 36 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

They will need Bell to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
