The Cardinals found their guy under center in McCarthy: F.

Somebody took the Cardinals to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

If Kamara pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They have staked the next five years on J.J. McCarthy, which is the only story that really matters here. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Anthony. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with running back still staring back at them.
