The Cardinals ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.

Landing Adams that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

It is not that McKinstry is a bad player; it is that the Cardinals had louder needs to answer first.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
