Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Cowboys were there to profit. Trey Amos, the No. 48 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 7, Pick 31. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
