The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They will need McCormick to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They banked enough surplus on Paul to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The Colts clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
