Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Bears.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bears spent Round 7, Pick 17 on Jackson Hawes, a name most had 28 spots down the list.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. That Williams pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
