Every other box got a look, but running back did not. The 49ers will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

The Lance steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They will need Laloulu to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
