Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB+
The Seahawks cashed the board's mistake on Bullard: B+. Thirty-one other rooms let Javon Bullard slide, and the Seahawks were the ones holding the card at the 82nd pick. Highway robbery. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.
They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Bullard pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at wide receiver, quarterback and other spots.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Chop Robinson
In the Round 1 slot they get juice off the edge. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick78
Rnd3
Kamren Kinchens
A clean, defensible pick in slot 78 with a little surplus value in Kamren Kinchens. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick82
Rnd3
Javon Bullard
They zigged when the board said zag, taking Javon Bullard at safety with wide receiver, quarterback and other spots open.
Pick89
Rnd3
Leonard Taylor III
A conviction pick on Leonard Taylor III at Round 3, Pick 26 that the board grades a round light. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick119
Rnd4
Matt Goncalves
Nothing to complain about; Matt Goncalves went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick151
Rnd5
Marist Liufau
Marist Liufau in pick No. 151 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick194
Rnd6
Jaylan Ford
No drama and no debate, Jaylan Ford went about where he belonged in No. 194. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick233
Rnd7
Tip Reiman
A tidy bit of business in the 233rd overall pick, where Tip Reiman graded well above the range. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
