The Bears looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Xavier Worthy at No. 36 regardless, 30 picks early. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They banked enough surplus on Torrence to cover a lot of smaller sins.
