You could see the war room lean forward. Darian Mensah at slot 210 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Every board in the league had Iheanachor lower, and that gap is the story. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
