When a board-topper like Woody Marks slides to pick 248, you do not overthink it, and the Saints did not. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A.

The Robinson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
