The Commanders cashed the board's mistake on Johnson: B.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Greg Johnson got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at the Round 4 slot. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They will need Brown to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
