You could see the war room lean forward. Tao Johnson at the 185th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
