The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Commanders reached some 34 spots for Bud Clark, and value like that does not grow back. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
