The board owed the Bears one, and it paid up: Smael Mondon Jr., the No. 105 name on the board, sitting there at the 187th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. White has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
