Johnson should have been long gone. The Eagles pounced, and earned a B.

When a board-topper like Tez Johnson slides to slot 161, you do not overthink it, and the Eagles did not. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Phillips pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
