The Panthers let Barron fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

The board owed the Panthers one, and it paid up: Jahdae Barron, the No. 13 name on the board, sitting there at slot 57 like a gift left on the doorstep.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They are betting Hawes proves the room right and everyone else wrong. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Adding Adonai Mitchell by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
