The war room fell hard for Thor Griffith, and it showed at the 257th pick: 53 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Stutsman at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
