The Colts got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C+. There is reaching, and then there is Cody Lindenberg at pick No. 222. The Colts jumped the board by 34 and dared it to prove them wrong. A mixed bag that lands at C+.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Warren falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game. On the needs board they went 8 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
