The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 200 spots for Keyon Ware-Hudson, and value like that does not grow back.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
