The Solomon Byrd pick is the one that will follow the Steelers into the fall. They took him 56 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while quarterback, safety and other spots went begging. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On value alone, Jones makes the weekend a net positive.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
