Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Reaching for Tate left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Colson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Maxx Crosby leading the way.

Bottom line, with Rome Odunze leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
