After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

Rosengarten has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Devonshire pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
