The Bears left with their quarterback, and a A- to match.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

Worthy at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Every board in the league had Beebe lower, and that gap is the story.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Jayden Daniels and all.

Ennis Rakestraw Jr. at slot 35 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
