Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Joshua Farmer got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at pick 207.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
