The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Jones: F.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Seahawks shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. There is no dressing it up: a F.

They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while linebacker, quarterback and other spots went begging. The cost of the Sweat reach is exactly the players who went right after him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.

However the rest shakes out, Jones at that price is a win they earned. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left linebacker open, and the grade is the bill.

In the 13th pick they get a bendy edge with upside at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.

In the 18th overall pick they get a plug-and-play piece up front. The biggest hole, addressed.

Good price on Chop Robinson in No. 39, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick44 Rnd2 T'Vondre Sweat
T'Vondre Sweat in pick 44 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It fills a real need, too.
Pick50 Rnd2 Zach Frazier
They paid a round early for Zach Frazier in slot 50, more than the board wanted. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick70 Rnd3 Chris Braswell
Chris Braswell slid further than he should have, and the Round 3 slot is lovely value for the edge rusher. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
