The Texans clearly saw something nobody else did in Eric Gentry, taking him 104 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C- in the wash.

That Lance pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
