The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Lions watched Ja'Quinden Jackson slide 36 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
