Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cowboys spent slot 150 on Justin Jefferson, a name the board had a full 51 spots lower.

The Johnson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
