If Davis pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.
