The tape said wait; the Broncos did not. Jamaree Caldwell went at pick 85, a good 44 picks before the board was ready. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, McMillan at that price is a win they earned.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
