Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B
ValueB- NeedB TradesA+ FutureC
The Titans fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Titans were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

They will need Clark to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Trigg pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The DeVonta Smith deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick10 Rnd1 Jeremiyah Love
In the Round 1 slot they get an every-down engine for the run game. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick68 Rnd3 Keith Abney II
No edge and no loss on Keith Abney II in No. 68; it is a wash and a sensible one. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick103 Rnd4 Zachariah Branch
Zachariah Branch in pick No. 103 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick143 Rnd5 Austin Romaine
Austin Romaine at the 143rd overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick145 Rnd5 Michael Trigg
Michael Trigg slipping to slot 145 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick151 Rnd5 Jyaire Hill
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jyaire Hill in the 151st pick. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick186 Rnd6 Bud Clark
They jumped the gun on Bud Clark, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick242 Rnd7 Barion Brown
They paid sticker price for Barion Brown in pick 242, and that is fine. The roster fit checks out.
