The 49ers did not so much draft Kingsley Suamataia as overpay for him, 30 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Hunt falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
