The 49ers lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

The 49ers spent real capital to be 48 picks early on Sam Hartman, and the board is going to hold them to it. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. However the rest shakes out, Rice at that price is a win they earned. They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
