You can usually follow a front office's logic. This one is harder. The Eagles spent No. 121 on Smael Mondon Jr. while cornerback, safety and other spots sat unaddressed. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Getting Mondon Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
