If confidence were a draft strategy, the Eagles would have aced it. Dayon Hayes at the 208th overall pick is 85 spots clear of where he belonged. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Landing Williams that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. With safety and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
