The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Reaching for Nourzad left real value on the table behind him. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
