Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Jets were there to profit. Ollie Gordon II, the No. 164 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 209. No fireworks, but a solid B.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The back end got a real overhaul.

The dealing was even money, start to finish.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
